Israeli Agent to Speak on His Role in Capture of Nazi War Criminal

Avner Avraham, an Israeli agent who was part of the operation that captured one of the chief architects of the holocaust, will speak at Duquesne on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Operation Finale PosterAvraham worked for the Mossad, the national intelligence agency of Israel, to capture Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in 1960. The story was portrayed in the recently released movie Operation Finale. Avraham served as a senior consultant on the film.

Avraham will speak about his life, his 28-year career in the Mossad, the real Operation Finale and the film at 7:30 p.m. in the Power Center’s Charles J. Dougherty Ballroom.
