Funds totaling $99,500 were received by the School of Pharmacy and the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES).

  • Suzanne Higginbotham and Janet Astle, School of Pharmacy, $97,500, from the AmerisourceBergen Foundation, to support the implementation of a Substance Use Disorder Certificate Program aimed to train working professionals and students in the health sciences, medicine, public administration, biological sciences, social work, sociology, and other related disciplines in advanced knowledge in substance use disorders, treatment modalities and care coordination.
  • Kevin Tidgewell, associate professor of pharmaceutical sciences and Dr. Benedict Kolber, associate professor of biological sciences, BSNES, a $2,000 Loogman Faculty Research Grant, as a result of their work being accepted for publication in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.
