New Microsoft Office Vendor Selected for Employee ‘Training Pathways to Professional Success’ Program

Microsoft Office 2019 is coming soon! To help employees with the nuances of this new software and improve their skills, the Office of Human Resources Learning and Development team has invested in a new Microsoft Office vendor for the Training Pathways to Professional Success program.

“We are already getting great feedback from employees who have taken our new Office 2019 trainings,” Dana Whatley Smith, manager of learning and development, said. “Many are saying that the New Horizon classes have been very informative with excellent and extremely knowledgeable instructors.”

Open to all employees for a low $28 fee, the new Office 2019 trainings offer hands-on instruction in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with a full course guide for each training.

  • Monday, Dec. 2, 1 to 3 p.m., Excel: Using Formulas, Functions and Charts in Room 103 of Rockwell Hall
  • Thursday, Dec. 5, 9 to 11 a.m., PowerPoint: Doing More with PowerPoint in Room 103 of Rockwell Hall
  • Friday, Dec. 13, 1 to 3 p.m., Excel: Using Excel to Summarize and Analyze Data in Room 435 of Fisher Hall.
