The University recognizes that these sweeping regulations require a thorough review. Title IX office has reviewed its policies and procedures, and the potential impact of required changes on campus.

“As we engage in updating our process over the summer, we encourage you to make your voice heard by submitting any thoughts or comments that you have on the new regulations to the Title IX office directly at robbinsl1@duq.edu,” said Title IX Director Lee Robbins. “Consistent with the University’s mission, our priority continues to be the health, safety and wellbeing of all members of our campus community as we revise Duquesne’s Title IX policy and procedures to be consistent with the new regulations, federal and state laws, and relevant court decisions.”

The Title IX office will continue to prioritize efforts, including training and programming, directed at the prevention of sexual violence, harassment and gender discrimination.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contact the Title IX office for issues of sexual misconduct or gender discrimination. The office remains open to receive and process new reports, and all current investigations are continuing. Violations can be reported to Robbins at robbinsl1@duq.edu.
