New Online Directory Promises Faster Access, Personal Online Directory Searches Moving to DORI

A new online directory scheduled to go live Thursday, June 18, will offer users quicker access while the University’s personal online directory search function will only be available while using DORI.

“Duquesne is launching a new online directory to help people quickly get access to the departments and subjects they need,” explained Tom Dugas, chief information security officer in Computing and Technology Services. “We are also moving the University’s personal online directory searches behind DORI to add security and privacy.”

Moving forward, the personal online directory will require a Duquesne University account to look up individual contact information. Students who have elected to keep their directory information private will continue to be excluded from the online directory as outlined in federal regulations.

“We hope the new online directory will help get people to the service areas they need quickly with the new interface,” Dugas said.
