PNC Leadership Academy Speaker Series to Address Systemic Racism

PNC Leadership Academy Speaker SeriesAs part of the PNC Leadership Academy Speaker Series presented by Duquesne University Athletics, President Ken Gormley will welcome William Demchak, president and CEO of PNC Financial Services, at a virtual meeting Monday, Sept. 28, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. William Generett, Jr., vice president of community engagement at Duquesne, will moderate the event.

Demchak will discuss PNC’s commitment of more than $1 billion to help end systemic racism and promote social justice. He will explain PNC’s efforts to increase workforce development initiatives, enhance neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing, and cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce and community. Demchak also will discuss the importance of good leadership and provide observations on the future job market.
