Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream Pop-Up is Back for a Limited Time

Pittsburgh favorite Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream is on campus for a limited time pop-up!

Voted Best Local Ice Cream Shop in Pittsburgh, Millie’s pop-up is open now every evening from 4 to 9:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Union. Meal Plan Flex, PLUS, cash and credit are accepted.

“We are so excited to return to campus after our pop-up in fall 2020,” said Millie’s owner Lauren Towsend. “Duquesne is a very special place with whom we have a strong connection—the students, faculty and employees are second to none. And we love bringing joy to the campus community, especially throughout this difficult year!”

Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream works directly with local purveyors of Pennsylvania dairy and eggs, uses the ripest seasonal produce and forges positive relationships with vendors committed to sustainability and fair-trade practices for items that are unable to be sourced regionally.
