State Association Recognizes SBDC with Several Awards

The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) recognized the University’s SBDC for several achievements during its annual conference.

“I’m so proud of our staff, which has displayed incredible dedication during a very challenging time,” Longo said. “This recognition is well deserved and exemplifies our commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and small business owners.”

Reflecting Duquesne’s commitment to creating equity and opportunity in the region, the SBDC’s Healthy Work Place and Technology Commercialization/Life Sciences initiatives received service awards for working with the small business community during an acute time of need.

In addition, Duquesne received a Small Business Administration (SBA) Partner Award for its work in raising the SBA profile in regional and state-wide communities.
