Buy Tickets for ‘Cops ’n Chefs BBQ’ to Benefit United Way

Tickets are on sale for the eighth annual Cops ‘’n Chefs BBQ to benefit Duquesne’s United Way Campaign.

United Way logoThe event will be held Thursday, Oct. 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Academic Walk near the Union.

Tickets are available for purchase online for $10. This year’s lunch will include a smoked, pulled-pork sandwich, Carl’s smoky baked beans, jalapeno cornbread, coleslaw, cookie and bottle of water. Each ticket purchase includes an entry to a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card.

Lunches will be available for pickup on Academic Walk.

The United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania helps tens of thousands of regional families meet basic needs and assists disabled individuals and seniors gain employment and live independently. Similarly, Duquesne works with local communities to address systemic challenges in health, education, legal access and economic development.
