Additional Drawings Announced to Benefit United Way Campaign
As the season of giving continues, employees have two new opportunities to help Duquesne’s United Way campaign progress.
Employees who have made a pledge to the United Way campaign via the University’s campaign portal by Wednesday, Dec. 15, will be eligible for the following prize drawings:
- One vacation day
- A $100 VISA gift card
- A $50 Eat’n Park gift card
- A $50 gift card for The Porch restaurant
- An Apple Watch Series 3.
The winners will be drawn Thursday, Dec. 16.
In addition, employees can buy tickets for a Wrapper’s-Delight themed gift basket sponsored by the School of Nursing. Valued at $200, the basket includes:
- One large holiday basket
- Two XL rolls of reversible wrapping paper (375 sq. ft. each)
- 43 assorted holiday bags
- 21 gift boxes
- 240 pieces of tissue paper
- Two extra-large gift sacks
- Six gift card boxes
- Three rolls of tape
- One pair of scissors
- One large roll of ribbon
- 45 bows
- 120 gift tags
- One holiday mug
- One box of candy canes
- One bottle of wine
- One bag of coffee
- One bag of Ghirardelli peppermint bark
- One box of Harry & David truffles
- Six hot chocolate bombs
- One packet of hot chocolate mix
- One Bath & Body Works Tis’ the Season candle.
Tickets can be purchased online through the United Way raffle form through Dec. 15. Prices are $1 for one ticket, $5 for seven tickets, $10 for 20 tickets, $15 for 35 tickets and $20 for 50 tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn Dec. 16.
