Dr. Michael Forlenza, assistant dean of the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement, has published an article, Depression and Oxidative Damage to Lipids, in Psychoneuroendocrinology, the official journal of the International Society of Psychoneuroendocrinology.

Dr. Steven Vardy, Distinguished University Professor of History, has been elected a member of the philosophy and history section of the prestigious Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

As an elected member, Vardy will have the opportunity to present an “inaugural lecture” at the academy in Budapest in the next year on his research and publishing activities.

The Hungarian Academy of Sciences was founded in 1825 to cultivate the country’s language, literature and history. It has since evolved into a major research institution that oversees the activities of approximately 50 research institutes.
