Law Professor Presents on Universities and Patents in the Information Age

Assistant Law Professor Jacob Rooksby will present Innovation Meets Litigation: Universities and Patents in the Information Age on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Rivers Club as part of the School of Law’s Continuing Legal Education (CLE) efforts.

Members of the campus community are invited to attend the one-hour program, which will highlight patent, policy and litigation issues and trends involving the industry-academic relationship.

The cost for faculty and administrators is $40 and is $60 for attorneys seeking the one (1) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit that has been approved by the Pennsylvania CLE Board.

Breakfast and registration is at 7:30 a.m., and the program is from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Rivers Club, which is located at One Oxford Center in downtown Pittsburgh.
