Employees Encouraged to Donate Blood in Spring Drive

Duquesne will host its annual spring blood drive for faculty, staff and students on Tuesday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Africa Room. Donations are needed in the Pittsburgh area for children and adults suffering from many different diseases, illnesses and necessary surgeries.

Participants can schedule an appointment to donate by doing one of the following:

• Schedule online by visiting http://www.centralbloodbank.org and use sponsor code CU090009
• Contact your department recruiter
• Contact Carol Negley in the Office of Human Resource Management at 412.396.5309 or negley@duq.edu.

Walk-ins are welcome but advanced appointments are appreciated by Friday, May 31.

Prior to an appointment, participants are asked:

• Before arriving for an appointment, save time by completing the health history questionnaire online via Donor Pass
• Review important donor preparation tips

Remember to bring a photo ID, a driver’s license, passport or a Central Blood Bank ID card.
