Graduate Students Earn Recognition for Outstanding Research

Fourteen graduate students were recognized for their outstanding research during the 2nd Annual Graduate Student Research Symposium on Nov. 7.

The symposium showcased the original scholarly work of more than 120 graduate students who delivered their findings through poster or oral presentations. Attendees were able to listen to the oral presentations then browse the poster displays, while the student researchers stood nearby to answer questions and offer further explanation.

The symposium resulted in eight awards being given with $1,900 presented in prize money.
