The Center for the Catholic Intellectual Tradition (CCIT) has announced that applications for the spring 2016 part-time faculty mission micro-grant competition will be accepted through Friday, April 1.

An important University-wide funding opportunity, the micro-grants support scholarly, curricular and professional development opportunities in the Catholic intellectual tradition for Duquesne’s part-time faculty, according to CCIT Director Dr. Darlene Weaver.

“Across the disciplines, part-time faculty contribute to Duquesne’s mission in a variety of ways,” said Weaver. “We are eager to work with part-time faculty to assist them in understanding and articulating the intersections between their work and Duquesne’s Catholic and Spiritan identity.”

Up to eight grants of up to $500 each will be awarded, and winning projects will be announced on Friday, April 15.

The micro-grants are made possible through the support of the Office of the Provost and the Division of Mission and Identity. For more information or to apply, visit the CCIT website or call 412.396.1595.
