Grants Received
Funds totaling $19,900 were received by the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, the School of Nursing and the School of Education.
- Dr. Cathleen Appelt, assistant professor of sociology from the McAnulty College, and Dr. Jessica Devido, associate professor in the School of Nursing, $10,000, from the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and the Office of the Provost. The grant runs through June 30, 2017.
- Dr. Laura Mahalingappa, assistant professor in the School of Education’s Department of Instruction and Leadership in Education; Dr. Anne Marie FitzGerald, assistant professor in the School of Education’s Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership; and Dr. Nihat Polat, associate dean for graduate studies and research in the School of Education’s Department of Instruction and Leadership, $9,900, from the Center for Community-Engaged Teaching and Research and the Office of the Provost. The grant runs through May 31, 2017.
