United Way Campaign Deadline Extended

The deadline to support the University’s 2016 United Way Campaign has been extended to Friday, Dec. 9, in hopes of meeting this year’s fundraising goal.

The annual campaign has nearly reached the 80 percent mark or $86,075 of its goal, but needs a final push to meet the initial target of $108,000.

The United Way supports numerous service agencies in Allegheny County, including several located at Duquesne, such as the City Music Center, the St. Anthony School Programs and the Holy Family Institute.

To facilitate contributions, employees can donate through payroll deduction or make a one-time pledge.

All donors will be entered in a drawing to receive 50 percent off an annual Duquesne parking pass.
