Diversity Fair Aims to Recognize, Celebrate Inclusiveness on Campus

The campus community is invited to celebrate the many ways that Duquesne values and promotes diversity at the 2017 Diversity Fair, Building an Environment of Inclusion.

Designed to raise awareness of the strengths and advantages of a diverse workspace, the fair will be held on Tuesday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Charles J. Dougherty Ballroom. Student, faculty and staff exhibits, along with practices and initiatives that embrace diversity and inclusion, will be featured.

“By highlighting our differences and similarities, we hope that members of our community will be inspired by what is available on campus and gain a deeper appreciation of one another,” said Marla Bradford, senior recruiter diversity leader in the Office of Human Resource Management and co-organizer of this year’s fair.

The fair, which will be held in conjunction with Spirit of Diversity week, is co-sponsored by Office of Human Resources, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Division of Mission and Identity, and the Office of International Programs.
