Funds totaling $501,219 were recently received by the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES) and the Rangos School of Health Sciences.

• Dr. Frederick Fochtman, director of the forensic science and law program, and Lyndsie Ferrara, instructor of forensic science and law, BSNES, $55,486, a U.S. Department of Justice subcontract from RTI International, to support the development of a webinar series.
• Drs. John Pollock, Wook Kim, Rehana Leak, John Stolz and Allyson O’Donnell, BSNES, $333,191, from the National Science Foundation, for MRI: Acquisition of a Confocal Microscope for Research and Teaching.
• Dr. Sarah Wallace, associate professor of speech-language pathology, $112,542, a National Institutes of Health sub-award from Miami University of Ohio, for Strategies to Accommodate Reading in Aphasia: Using Assistive Technology to Support Reading by People with Aphasia.
