Upcoming Veterans Day Breakfast at Duquesne Is One of Largest in the State
Duquesne will host its 19th annual Veterans Day Breakfast, one of the largest of its kind in the state of Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Union Ballroom.
The Veterans Day event draws between 600 to 700 participants each year and raises money for local veterans’ organizations, including Duquesne’s Office of Military and Veteran Students.
Duquesne psychology professor and post-traumatic stress disorder expert Dr. Roger Brooke will give this year’s keynote address.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the breakfast will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The cost is $35 per person and $350 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania website at www.vlpwpa.org.
