United Way Games for Good Volunteer Opportunity

The United Way is looking for Duquesne University student, faculty and staff volunteers to participate in the 2018 Games for Good, a fun-filled event that helps local children by reinforcing the benefits of healthy, active lifestyles.

Games for Good will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Volunteers are needed to lead children through activities, games and stations that promote fitness and fun.

Volunteer orientation begins at 3:45 p.m. that day with the games following immediately afterward. Volunteers also are invited to happy hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

This event is just one of many taking place during Duquesne’s upcoming 2018 United Way campaign.
