Benefits Office Hosting Presentation by Local Breast Cancer Survivor

In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, the benefits office is hosting a presentation by breast cancer survivor Carol Glock, founder and president of the Glock Foundation.

Glock, who was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in June 2013, will share her personal journey on Thursday, Oct. 4, at noon in the Berger Gallery in Room 207 of College Hall.

After being successfully treated by Allegheny General Hospital, Glock was motivated to start the Glock Foundation, a nonprofit that raises funds to support breast cancer research, clinical trials, education and patient care within the Pittsburgh community.

This event is open to all University employees, who are asked to RSVP in MyLead.
