The lecture will take place on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Pappert Lecture Hall in the Bayer Learning Center.

Farzaneh’s new book, Judgeships in Iran: Step Down, You Are a Woman—A Legal Analysis of International Human Rights, is a comprehensive critique of Iran’s gender-based discrimination against women from various perspectives of domestic and comparative law, Islamic jurisprudence and international human rights laws.

A brief Q&A session will follow.
