CCFC Calling for Part-Time Faculty Mission Micro-Grant Applications

The Center for Catholic Faith and Culture (CCFC) is offering mission micro-grants to support part-time faculty with projects that reflect and contribute to Duquesne’s mission and identity.

Applications are due Monday, March 18, for the $500 mission grants, which the CCFC is offering in cooperation with the Office of the Provost. Up to four grants will be awarded.

Designed to support scholarly, curricular and professional development opportunities that align with the University’s Spiritan mission, these grants are available to part-time faculty in any discipline who:

  • Hold an advanced degree in their discipline
  • Have taught at least four courses at Duquesne in the last three years (summer session teaching may be included).

Previous mission grant recipients are welcome to apply as long as they meet the reporting requirement for the previous grant and are seeking funding for a different project.

Examples of projects that mission grants can sponsor include a student experience that fosters cultural awareness, attendance at a scholarly conference, hosting a guest speaker or developing a class project.
