University’s Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day a Success
The University enjoyed hosting the children of Duquesne employees on April 25 for the annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
Children and their parents enjoyed a special welcome breakfast with Provost David Dausey giving remarks and were able to attend sessions with public safety, marketing and communication, and Gumberg Library, and activities on food science and African drumming, among others. Children also had the opportunity to do on-the-job shadowing with their parents.
All children received certificates from the University to mark their attendance and participation in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
