Funds totaling $47,352 were recently received by the Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (BSNES) and the School of Pharmacy.

• Dr. Benedict Kolber, BSNES, $42,352, from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
• Dr. Jamie McConaha, School of Pharmacy, $5,000, from the Pennsylvania Department of Health passed through Tobacco Free Allegheny, Inc., to support smoking cessation classes.
