University Announces Paluse Faculty Research Grant Recipients

Four Duquesne professors have received Paluse Faculty Research Grants to help support their research in various fields.

Grant recipients are:

  • Assistant History Professor Dr. Robin Chapdelaine for Oral Interviews for Book Project on Transnational Labor Migration
  • Associate Communications and Rhetorical Studies Professors Dr. Inci Ozum Sayrak and Dr. Erik Garrett for From Surviving to Thriving in the Neighborhood: Public Health, Communication Ethics, and Urban Intercultural Mindfulness
  • Associate Biological Sciences Professor Dr. Nancy Trun for Clean Water Research in Pennsylvania.

The grants are funded from an endowment for the late Rev. Richard V. Paluse and sponsored by the Center for Catholic Faith and Culture. Paluse grants support faculty research that reflects Duquesne’s mission and identity.
