Spring Spiritan Pedagogy Series Continues with Lunch Discussion

The Spiritan Pedagogy lunch series continues with Dr. David Carbonara, clinical assistant professor of instructional technology at the School of Education, leading a discussion on the intersection of Spiritan education and technology.

Faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend Imagining a Different Kind of Excellence Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in room 613 of the Union. Please RSVP by Feb. 14 at duq.edu/sp-lunch03.

  • Tuesday, March 31, 12 to 1:30 p.m. luncheon in room 613 of the Union. Dr. Norman Conti, associate professor of sociology, and Dr. Rick McCown, professor and Pierre Schouver endowed chair in the School of Education, will share their perspectives on learning, researching and serving with those inside and outside of the academy.
  • Thursday, April 23, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., Community Building Reception in room 613 of the Union.

The Spiritan Pedagogy series explores ways to reimagine academic excellence in holistic ways that move beyond the usual academic standards. It is co-hosted by the Center for Catholic Faith and Culture and the Center for Teaching Excellence.
