Interested students and faculty can register for the competition by Dec. 2. Individual and team submissions are welcome.

“The Rangos Prizes program has generated many good ideas during the last two years and supported a variety of enhancements in our curriculum,” Dr. Darlene Weaver, associate provost for academic affairs, said. “This year’s competition cycle promises more fresh ideas thanks to the creativity and initiative of our students and faculty.”

Those who have not received a Rangos prize can apply as new applicants. Individuals and teams are eligible to apply as advancing applicants if they won a prize as an advancing applicant in the 2020 competition cycle or if they are a 2019 winner who did not apply as an advancing applicant during the 2020 cycle.

A virtual information session for new and advancing applicants is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 19, from 3 to 4 p.m. Advance registration is required.

Applications will be reviewed after Dec. 2, and select finalists will be invited to participate in a virtual pitch competition scheduled for the spring semester. For more information, visit the Rangos Prizes website.
