“We’ve recruited several of the University’s corporate partners to serve as guest speakers throughout the series in order to provide engaging and expert-level content,” Mary Wattick, assistant director of student and young alumni engagement, said. “Session topics being developed include first-time healthcare selection, saving for retirement, healthy grocery shopping on a budget, mental and emotional wellbeing, and first-time home buying.”

Life Beyond the Bluff kicks off tonight, Wednesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. on Zoom with a session about student loan repayment. John Falleroni, senior associate director of financial aid at the University, will present information regarding the student loan repayment process followed by a question-and answer-session.

More information on this session and a link to register are available online on the Duquesne Alumni Association homepage.

“Duquesne is here for our alumni,” Wattick said. “These sessions are a way in which we can ensure that our graduating seniors and young alumni are prepared for anything as they get ready for the next step in their lives.”
