Win Prizes at Today’s Virtual Benefits Fair

Employees can learn together and chat with experts, attend a seminar and win prizes at the Virtual Benefits Fair today, Wednesday, April 21, until 4 p.m. The fair features informative and fun presentations about the University’s medical plans, tuition benefits, dental and vision plans, and more. Employees also may enter a drawing to win prizes, including a Fitbit Charge 3, a Bluetooth speaker and gift cards.

Open Enrollment for the 2021-2022 plan year ends Friday, May 21, 2021, which gives employees and their spouses a month to review their current medical needs. All benefits selections made during the University’s open enrollment period are valid from Thursday, July 1, 2021, through Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Changes to the University’s benefits options are outlined on Page 2 of the 2021-2022 Benefits Overview workbook, including an increase to the working spouse fee for all medical plans.

As a reminder, flexible spending accounts (medical, limited and dependent care) and purchased vacation days (if eligible) do not carry over and will end Wednesday, June 30, 2021. These elections must be completed each year during open enrollment.
