Grants Received

Funds totaling $135,932 were recently received by the School of Pharmacy and the Center for Integrative Health.

• Dr. Jennifer Elliott, Center for Integrative Health, $100,000, from the Shear Family Foundation, to help expand current programming in more communities, establish new programs that address unmet community needs, hire new staff and provide all staff with professional development training.
• Dr. Jennifer Elliot, Paige Williams and Dr. Elizabeth Bunk, Center for Integrative Health, $6,000, from the Pennsylvania Department of Health passed through Adagio Health, Inc., to support the implementation of the virtual Diabetes Prevention Programming with Adagio Health.
• Dr. David Lapinsky, School of Pharmacy, $9,932, from the Samuel and Emma Winters Foundation, to support the project Tackling Human Disease via a “Universal Chemical Biology Toolbox.”
• Dr. Jamie McConaha, School of Pharmacy, $15,000, from the Pennsylvania Department of Health passed through Adagio Health, Inc., to support tobacco prevention and control activities.
• Dr. Jamie McConaha, School of Pharmacy, $5,000, from Pfizer Inc., to support a youth vaping prevention program.
