Employees Can Participate in University Virtual Blood Drive

Duquesne faculty and staff can sign up to participate in the Duquesne University Virtual Blood Drive, which runs through Saturday, July 31.

Blood donations save lives, and there is currently a critical need for all blood types. Appointments are recommended at any Vitalant Donor Center or mobile blood drive in the Pittsburgh region.

Check out the following steps below to find a nearby blood drive:

• Visit www.vitalant.org.
• Click on Donor login, Create Login or New Donor.
• Follow the prompts to get to the Appointment Scheduling page.
• Scroll down to Search for Nearby Drives.
• Enter your zip code and distance willing to travel, then click the search button.
• Click on desired drive to highlight it, then click the select button below the list.
• Select an available appointment slot on the list, click to highlight it, then follow the prompts to schedule your appointment.

Employees are asked to provide the University group code CUO90009 when they arrive to donate so that Duquesne will receive credit for your donation.
