Grants Received

Funds totaling $33,285 were recently received by the School of Education and the School of Pharmacy.

• Dr. Christopher Meidl, School of Education, $31,600, from the Heinz Endowments, to provide a professional development program for seven employees of the ABK Learning and Development Center in collaboration with the City of Pittsburgh’s Housing Authority.
• Dr. David Zimmerman, School of Pharmacy, $1,685, from Spero Therapeutics, Inc. passed through the University of Iowa, to support the project UriNary TRact Infections in the Emergency Department (UNTRIED).
