  • Stephanie Wetzel, teaching assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, BSNES, $7,000, from the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, to purchase lab supplies.
  • Charlotte Hacker, a doctoral biological sciences student studying under Dr. Jan Janecka, BSNES, $5,000, from the Chicago Zoological Society Chicago Board of Trade Endangered Species Fund, for Determination of Snow Leopard (Panthera uncia) Prey Use and Livestock Dependence Using Noninvasive Genetic Analyses and its Conservation Implications.
