Wecht Institute Online Ethics CLE Seminar to Focus on Criminal Case Study

An upcoming online seminar will employ a complex hypothetical criminal case study to explore the importance of ethical principles in the context of the Pennslvania Rules of Criminal Procedure and the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct.

The Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law will host Ethics in Criminal Investigations and Prosecutions from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, via Zoom.

The seminar will feature the following participants:

  • Duquesne alumnus and former prosecutor William Caye
  • Criminal trial and appellate lawyer Ryan James
  • Public defender Lisa Middleman
  • Detective Corinne Orchowski
  • Detective Rich Keebler
  • Alumna and attorney Beth Tarasi.
