The Three Sleuths Return to Discuss High-Profile Cases
The Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law will mark its 20th anniversary and its founder’s 90th birthday with a special virtual event addressing high-profile cases and more.
The Three “Zooming” Sleuths will be held at 7 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, March 17, via Zoom.
Institute founder Dr. Cyril Wecht will join forensic pathologist Michael Baden and criminalist Henry Lee to discuss national cases involving Jeffrey Epstein and Phil Spector. The trio also will take a look at the reasons many minor encounters between police and Black suspects result in death.
The interactive event will include short presentations and a question-and-answer session.
For 20 years, the Wecht Institute has been committed to offering a horizon-expanding education through its various programs that applying scientific methods to legal matters.
